O slalom course, oh how you injure thee

Special thanks to Matt Gamble for the video. Also there is nothing special that happened here, just a bitch slap to the face from a ski. The video also proves that I suck at slalom skiing and that old idiots like me should stop kidding myself that I can make it through the slalom course. Enjoy-

Thanksgiving

It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving if Brian didn't shave his facial hair into something awful. He looked awesome. Several of my family members at the Gamble Thanksgiving asked what was going on with him....- My response?  Psycho.

Fall/ Halloween time

Made a trip to the Quad Cities for Fall break to spend some quality with the Hammys

 We made pumpkin pies from the apple trees right outside.  Awesome!

Some of us had trouble getting our poop in the toilet. GROSS! Tyler

We visited the local pumpkin patch and measured our growth for the year.

Fire the Laser!

So I made the decision to have LASIK surgery to correct my astigmatism of both eyes. 

LASER ON!!

The end result..... 20/15 vision. and oh these fun eye shields for the first couple of nights. I am good shape over here. Best thing I ever did. A couple weeks after the surgery, I found myself veering off the road to look at the scenery because I had never seen it so clearly.....

Back to school again

Its that time again. Thank God. As most mothers are sobbing at the bus stop, I happy skip back to my house and yell FRREEEEEDOM!

Our 40 foot ash tree in our front yard fell victim to the emerald ash borer this year, so instead of "seeing if it would make it" Brian opted for the more harsher option to just cut it down.......................... himself.
