State Fair Trip

Dripping with sweat, anxiety, and worry Poppie Clinches his heart as he barely made the 8am train. He was the last passenger to board that morning. His daughter Robyn had to convince the conductor not to leave without him.

Both boys loved the train- as you can tell, its serious business to them.

Alex and Kamryn - if i had to say you learned anything this summer, it would be to peeing outside. OMG, the obsession. Everytime someone turned around, there you guys were peeing in your favorite spot against the fence.

Jellystone Park

We recently to the kids to the Lake Monroe Jellystone park in

Bloomington IN. We went with our good friends and neighbors. Four adults and 5 kids. Whew! We roughed it and went "Primitive" tent camping.... meaning no electrical hookups.. Luckily we were able to get a spot far in the back of the woods for midnight screamings and whinnings. We made it through with only 1 kid waking up. No bad at all.

All and all we had a great time. This place was so fun. Among the camp amenities were, indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade, rec room, gift shop, giant jumping pillow, and all complete with Yogi bear touring the campsites on a golf cart. yay.

We made smores, ate popcorn, swam, hiked and the girls even learned how to squat and pee in the woods.. They loved that part a little too much.

Excessive heat

This excessive heat is just not good for Snow White's hair. its just gets in the way when she is trying to drive Alex to Gymnastics.

2011 Hamilton Reunion

There they are the Hamilton Brothers and Sisters. all upteen of them. Milton, Marvin, Dale Jr. Thomas (Jack), Kenneth, Marilyn, Margaret, Martha, Mildred.

The reunion started out great, you know general misbehavior

A little tug of war competition. Also not pictured was the baggo/cornhole tournament, which Brian and I lost for the 2nd year in a row to Chad and Bridget in the final match. We are still bitter.

Utter Cream- the ultimate cure

Ricky is in love with his utter cream. He carries it with him everywhere. Hurt? Just use the utter cream. ( When I was breastfeeding Alex)--- "Whats that Robyn, nipples sore from breast feeding? I gots me some utter cream that will fix that right up.

Oh and by the way it says for "veterinary use only" on the container

Brother Matt, falls victim to the utter cream doctor. He mistakenly told Ricky that he has a chronic dry face.

Look what the Easter bunny brought thet kids!

This is what can happen if you let mix ebay and drinking on a Friday night. This was the kids Easter gift this year.... We told Alex that Easter bunny helpers put it together and put it in our yard. Also thanks to brian, the trampoline is kid friendly and now has a yellow slide coming off of it....

Indy 500 Highlights

Theres only one thing to say. It was hot.

Over the Memorial Day weekend we hosted a neighborhood BBQ and suddenly I turn around and see Kamryn walking around looking for me, lost among the people in our house. Apparenlty she needed assistence in the bathroom

The Great Wolf Lodge

Thought you going to see vacation picture huh? um no.

We recently attended a retirement party for one of the partners in Brians firm. It was a beautiful house complete with a "man cave" in the basement. We walked down to a beautiful walk out basement to a patio and pool complete with bar, pool table... etc. Then we turned the corner into the Great Wolf Lodge and saw this:



Stuffed Game, a lovely touch of class for anyones shelves.



Alex and Kamryn, being extremely fearful of dressed characters with large heads not to mention deathly afraid of the chick filet cow, had no problem posing with the numerous dead animals in the room

Yes this is a dead bear, shot, and made into a rug. I didnt even take pictures of the animal skins on the couches.

And for the grand finale, yes, that is a a stuffed mountain lion. Seriously, it was going to jump out at me. The kids kept asking me if we could go back inside and pet the kitty.
