Minocqua- Bats!

Another "Heine" Family reunion in Minocqua, WI in the books this year. A 4 day excursion of water sports and camping. All around, good times, good times.

Aunt Bridget and I try the knee boards out as the onlookers from the dock get a nice rear view.

We are prepping Kamryn here to take the lake

Alex tried this new water training ski thing courtesy of Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton. By the end of week she was hanging off the side of the boat on a boom.

I also convinced myself that "I still got it" that after 2 straight summers of being pregnant. The look of intensity just says it all...... Falling was just not an option.

Aunt Penny, (Brians Cousin) just had a beautiful baby boy - Joshua. Kamryn looks thrilled to get her picture taken with him.

Kamryn, Alex, and cousin Lauren catch up with one another at lunch time.

The paddle boat is always a favorite.

Feeding Time

To whom it may concern:
Please tell my mommy to stop making me wear these ridiculous pink bibs.

Sincerely
Tyler.

Tummy Time Teachers

Alex and Kamryn teach Tyler the fundamentals of tummy time.

Wow Wow Alex! Happy Birthday!

For Alex's 4th birthday, instead of celebrating with all her little friends we had a Hamilton/Gamble family get together as it was the same weekend as Tyler's Baptism. Worked out great....... Because we did not have a official birthday party for her, I decided to go balls out on the cake. Alex watches Wow Wow Wubbzy on Nick Jr. as if her life depended upon it. Armed with beer and yellow icing we spent three hours on a Friday night making this monstrosity. I would like to personally thank my 2 assistants, Grandma Hamilton and Brian for coming up with the idea to rest Wubbzy on a piece of dry wall lined with foil...

Poor Wubbzy, mutilated before my crafting eyes. I sort of felt attached to him and refused to cut into him when the time came. All that was left was an ear.

2010 State Fair

Its a Gamble tradition to hit the state fair every year. This year - one word to describe our experience- Brutal. It was 96 degrees that Sunday with a heat index of 800 degrees. We definitely picked the worst weather day to visit the fair. However with that being said, we did not let it stop us.

All is well at 8am on the train ride to the fair. Little do we know we are about to roast for the next 5 hours.

With our bellies filled with starch, sugar, grease and fat we hit the midway rides.

And as the day comes to an end we board the train to go home.--- Its always fun to see who will fall victim to "train sleeping"

Alex Hamilton- First Victim

And the winner for best train sleeper this year is Kamryn Hamilton.... who fell asleep while standing up looking out the window.
