Jellystone Park

We recently to the kids to the Lake Monroe Jellystone park in
Bloomington IN. We went with our good friends and neighbors. Four adults and 5 kids. Whew! We roughed it and went "Primitive" tent camping.... meaning no electrical hookups.. Luckily we were able to get a spot far in the back of the woods for midnight screamings and whinnings. We made it through with only 1 kid waking up. No bad at all.

All and all we had a great time. This place was so fun. Among the camp amenities were, indoor pool, outdoor pool, arcade, rec room, gift shop, giant jumping pillow, and all complete with Yogi bear touring the campsites on a golf cart. yay.

We made smores, ate popcorn, swam, hiked and the girls even learned how to squat and pee in the woods.. They loved that part a little too much.

Here is my only picture of the trip. My friend Maghan did a much better documentation job than I. For a more comprehensive review of our trip please refer to the "Kellers Blog" listed in my blog list - Camping 2011
